We’re seeking a talented Business Analyst 2 (BA2) who will gather and analyze information from stakeholders, business owners, customers, and management to determine project needs, expectations, and priorities. The role involves defining and eliciting system/user requirements, facilitating sessions, and documenting detailed business processes to support IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Elicit and analyze system and user requirements through interviews, observation, and analysis.
  1. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions without the need for a project manager or technical expert.
  1. Create test conditions, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
  1. Define and document business process flows using tools like Visio (flowcharts and swim lane diagrams).
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users to define requirements and provide technical assistance.
  1. Conduct Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and fit-gap analysis for system implementation projects.
  1. Develop and maintain project documentation in tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.
  1. Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in project management software (e.g., MS Project or Clarity).
  1. Work independently or as part of a team in Agile environments, using frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Four (4) years as a Business Systems Analyst in the past eight (8) years.
  • Four (4) years of experience defining system and user requirements and translating them into business processes.
  • Three (3) years of experience creating business process flows using Visio.
  • Three (3) years of experience creating test cases and scenarios.
  • Three (3) years in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Documented experience as a Business Analyst on at least two (2) software development projects requiring 2,000+ FTE hours.
  • Proficiency with tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, and MS Project.
  • Experience with business requirements tracking tools and systems process mapping.
  • Strong facilitation skills to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to feedback in Agile environments.

Work Location: Hybrid (mostly remote with on-site as requested)
