About the Role:

Are you a skilled .NET developer ready for your next challenge? We’re seeking a Programmer 4 to join our team and lead the design and development of web applications using modern .NET technologies. This role focuses on creating scalable and efficient applications, enhancing user experiences, and collaborating within Agile teams. Your expertise in ASP.NET Core, MVC, Razor, and SQL Server will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions that meet complex business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications using ASP.NET Core, MVC, Razor, and SQL Server technologies.

• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, including creating tables, views, T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions.

• Build user interfaces (UI) with ASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap, and modern web design frameworks.

• Implement dynamic functionalities using jQuery, Asynchronous JavaScript, Ajax, and other scripting languages.

• Conduct unit testing, load testing, and performance testing to ensure robust application functionality.

• Develop reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Telerik Reporting, integrating them into MVC applications.

• Collaborate with teams to perform code reviews, pair programming, and Agile sprint tasks.

• Manage source code repositories, code promotion strategies, and recovery using Team Foundation Server (TFS).

• Provide technical documentation and impact analysis for new features or system changes.

• Ensure project alignment with Agile methodologies and participate in backlog grooming and task board management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in .NET web development, including stand-alone and N-tier architecture environments.

• 8+ years of full-stack development experience in the Microsoft stack, including C# and Visual Studio (with at least 1+ year of experience in Visual Studio 2022 preferred).

• 6+ years of experience with SQL Server database design and development.

• 6–8 years of experience in ASP.NET MVC UI designing with Bootstrap and application development.

• 6–8 years of experience in implementing jQuery, Asynchronous JavaScript, and Ajax.

• 5+ years of experience or demonstrable understanding of Agile methodology and TFS.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (a master’s degree is an added advantage).

• Must be located in Ohio and able to work on-site as required.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Telerik or other third-party UI controls for ASP.NET Core/MVC.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Sync, replication, or distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with offline/stand-alone web application development using ASP.NET Core MVC.

• Familiarity with pair programming, Agile task boards, and TFS dashboards.

• IT experience with state agencies or government departments is a plus.

Location: Hybrid, Reynoldsburg, Ohio (2 days on-site per week)
