We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator 4 (SA 4) to design, implement, and manage infrastructure and endpoint devices to support aging community services. The role involves integrating unified communication systems, ensuring security, and optimizing infrastructure efficiency to align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement infrastructure architecture (servers, cloud, networks, VoIP) in alignment with strategic plans.
  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
  • Upgrade systems and resolve security and functionality issues through updates and patches.
  • Lead the implementation of new technologies and upgrades with minimal disruption.
  • Monitor systems daily, addressing security and usability concerns.
  • Respond to help desk requests related to servers, networks, and endpoints.
  • Deploy and maintain endpoint devices and ensure network security.
  • Troubleshoot software and application systems, offering debugging support.
  • Write and edit automation scripts to increase task efficiency.
  • Document processes to ensure smooth end-user experiences.
  • Assist in mobility project development and maintain technical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, external users, and vendors to maintain production environments.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Expertise in infrastructure and endpoint upgrades, deployment, and management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, wireless access points, and unified communication systems.
  • Ability to drive results, handle urgent tasks, and work both independently and in teams.
  • Strong project management skills for coordinating upgrades with minimal disruption.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking with cross-functional team experience.

Required Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical study.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years in endpoint administration and support.
  • 7+ years in system/server implementation and integration (e.g., AD migration, DNS migration, Windows 11 upgrades).
  • 5+ years of unified communication experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Professional certifications in server or network management.
  • Advanced understanding of patch management tools and Windows operating systems.

Other Requirements:

  • Laptop: Shipped or to be picked up.

Location: Hybrid, Columbus, Ohio (2 days on-site required)
