Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tester who is responsible for analyzing requirements, creating test plans, developing manual and automated test cases, executing test cases, performing regression testing, and managing defects. This role demands a deep understanding of software testing methodologies and tools, especially within the Microsoft ASP.NET framework. The successful candidate must possess a combination of technical and communication skills, with a strong focus on detail and quality assurance.

Job Responsibilities:‍

• Analyze requirement and Create Test Plan – 10%
• Create Manual Test Cases using Microsoft Visual Studio Test Manager – 20%
• Create Automated Test Cases using Microsoft Visual Studio Test Manager – 15%
• Test case exaction and regression testing – 40%
• Defect creation and tracking – 15%

Job Requirements:‍

The successful candidate for this engagement must have the following minimum skills, abilities, and experience. Any candidate who does not meet or exceed ALL the minimum qualifications listed below will not be considered for the engagement.

• Required 7 | Developing and/or testing software applications in complex end-user environments
• Required 5 | Software test management (test planning, test case creation, execution, defect tracking, metrics capture).
• Required 5 | Manual testing (functional, regression, performance).
• Required 3 | Automated testing (functional, regression, performance).
• Required 2 | Developing/testing web applications on the Microsoft ASP.NET Framework.
• Required 2 | Visual Studio (2008/2010/2019) and Azure DevOps for Software Testers.
• Required 4 | College degree or equivalent technical study in Computer Science or a related field.
• Required 7 | Possess a deep understanding of modern distributed systems concepts, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and API gateways.

Preferred Requirements:

The successful candidate for this engagement may have the following PREFERRED skills, abilities and experience. Candidates with a larger number of preferred skills listed below will generally score higher during the evaluation process.

• Required 2 | Writing SQL queries and working with relational databases (Oracle preferred).
• Required 2 | Knowledge and experience with XML, nUnit, Web Services, and ASP.NET 4.0.
• Required 2 | Leading and developing QA teams.
• Required 2 | Using SCRUM Agile development methodologies or equivalent SCRUM Master certification.
